CRSU Hackathon 2026

A two-stage innovation challenge that starts with research and ends with an intensive offline build weekend at CRSU. Open to everyone, teams of one to three.

CRSU Hackathon 2026 is for people who want to do more than pitch an idea. It is designed around a simple progression: understand a real problem, propose a credible solution, then build enough of it to prove the idea works.

The hackathon begins online with research and ideation. Teams work on a single problem statement, define the user or context, propose a solution and map out how they would build it. The thirty strongest teams then come to CRSU for an intensive offline hackathon, where the focus shifts to execution: building, testing, iterating and presenting a working prototype.

You do not need to be from a specific college, degree or discipline to apply. Participation is open to all, and teams can combine different strengths across coding, design, product, research, data and presentation.
